Peter E. Trapa is the Dean of the College of Science. He oversees all aspects of the college, and is responsible for the college’s student success initiatives, academic programming, research activity, faculty, and staff.

Pearl Sandick is the Associate Dean of Research and Faculty Affairs and the OEO/Title IX Liaison. She advocates for faculty and oversees the RPT process, as well as leads strategic planning for the College.

Vahe Bandarian is the Associate Dean of Student Affairs. He oversees student affairs, including recruitment, advising, engagement, and success metrics.

Jeff leads the College of Science Advancement team. He also leads, in collaboration with Department Chairs, the external relations and fundraising programs for: The School of Biological Sciences, the Department of Chemistry, the Department of Mathematics, and the Department of Physics & Astronomy. The College of Science Advancement team serves to build meaningful relationships with our alumni and key constituents. Along with those efforts, we provide: The College’s website design and content production; The College’s external Marketing & Communications initiatives, including the Notebook, and Discover publications; Steward and promote the Crimson Laureate Society; Plan and manage all College of Science external-focused events, such as Frontiers of Science, Science at Breakfast, and Understanding the Science.

Eliot's portfolio includes grant writing, research development, corporate and foundation relations, and administration of the College's annual giving campaign. He prepares proposals for College programs, endowment requests, and capital projects. As part of his duties, he also locates potential funding opportunities for faculty and assists, as needed, with pre-award activities.
